# Grok Bot Pricing (2026): What It Costs and Which Plan You Need

October 3, 2026 · Justin Canetti · 7 min read · Comparisons

## The short answer

**Grok Bot has no standalone price.** You get access by holding a qualifying subscription, and you get a weekly allowance of included usage. Once that runs out, further use is billed on demand at model and token cost, subject to a spending cap.

- **Plans with access:** SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Pro, Cursor Pro+, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Standard and Premium.
- **Marketplace:** we found no true marketplace. You can share bots as templates through public or team-only links.
- **Versus Meta Muse:** Muse has a free tier plus $20 and $100 plans per press coverage, so it is easier to try. Grok Bot is more technical.

We do not quote a dollar price for Grok Bot itself because neither xAI nor Cursor publishes one in the pages we could read.

## How Grok Bot Access and Billing Work

*Based on xAI's Grok Bot announcements and FAQ and Cursor's Grok Bot plans help page, checked October 3, 2026. Grok Bot is in beta, so details can change. We could not load x.ai pricing pages, so we do not list SuperGrok prices.*

## How much is Grok Bot?

There is no separate Grok Bot price. Grok Bot is a team of always-on agents, each account with a cloud computer, that xAI launched in beta on August 11, 2026 together with Cursor. On August 26, xAI widened access beyond the top tiers. The cost you pay is the subscription you already hold, plus any on-demand usage after your weekly allowance.

Third-party sites have reported specific figures, such as $300 per month for SuperGrok Heavy and $200 for Cursor Ultra. We could not confirm those on xAI's or Cursor's own pages, and a fetch of Cursor's pricing page returned a summary we did not trust, so check the current subscription price on the vendor's page. Whatever those subscriptions cost, that is the price of the subscription, not a Grok Bot price.

## Which plans include Grok Bot

xAI's August 26 post lists SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Pro, Cursor Pro+, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Standard and Premium. Cursor's own help page describes the same structure: Cursor Pro, Pro+ and Ultra include Grok Bot, all Teams members get access automatically, and individual SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, or X Premium+ subscriptions can be linked. Weekly usage resets based on your plan tier. xAI also says Grok Bot has its own usage, separate from your Grok and Cursor plans, so work handed to a bot does not count against your existing usage.

Some earlier articles say only SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Teams Premium qualify. That was true in the first weeks, but xAI's August 26 expansion makes it outdated. An enterprise waitlist exists, and xAI's FAQ lists apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android. Regional availability is not specified.

## Weekly usage and on-demand billing

Every paid plan comes with a weekly allowance that resets each week. When it runs out, usage continues only if you have enabled on-demand billing, which is charged at model and token cost, up to a monthly spending limit. If you do not enable it, work pauses until the next reset.

Two details affect budgeting. Plans do not stack, so holding both a Cursor plan and a linked SuperGrok subscription does not give you extra Grok Bot usage. And because on-demand cost depends on which model a bot uses and how many tokens it consumes, there is no flat per-task rate to quote. Long-running computer-use tasks will cost more than short ones.

If predictability matters, set the spending cap low at first and watch a week of real usage before raising it.

## Is there a Grok Bot marketplace?

Not that we could verify. Searches such as "grok bot marketplace" and "grok bot template marketplace" are common, but we found no official marketplace page. What exists is sharing: xAI's FAQ describes sharing a bot as a template through a public link or a team-only link, and Team Bots can be shared across Cursor Teams plans.

That is closer to a template gallery than a store where you buy or sell agents. If xAI launches a marketplace, expect it to be announced on x.ai, and treat any site claiming to sell Grok Bots today with caution. ## Grok Bot vs Meta Muse on price and access

Meta Muse, a consumer agent launched in September 2026, is easier to try. Meta says it is free for most of what people need, and press coverage reports a metered free tier, Power at $20 per month, and Maximum at $100 per month, with a card required to start. It launched in the US only, and it runs from muse.ai, iOS, Android, and WhatsApp. It handles shopping, travel, forms, and payments through Link by Stripe.

Grok Bot is paid access only, via the plans above, and is aimed at technical users who want a persistent cloud computer, routines, and the ability to control apps that have no API. Its gaps are that it is in beta, its usage metering is opaque, and we found no documented phone number or email for the agent. Muse's own email address has been announced as coming.

In short: choose Muse if you want a free start and everyday errands; choose Grok Bot if you already pay for SuperGrok or Cursor and want deeper tooling. ## If you want to use it for work

Grok Bot is bundled into plans many people already pay for, which makes it cheap to try. For company use, the open questions are the same as for any agent: what data it can reach, what it is allowed to do without approval, and what the vendor commits to on training and retention. Grok Bot runs on a persistent cloud computer, and xAI's FAQ says sensitive actions can require your approval with customizable ask-first rules. Check the current privacy and retention terms on xAI's and Cursor's pages before connecting company data.
